PayPal is the only form of payment we accept at this time. If you do not have a PayPal account, you may pay invoices securely by inputting your credit card information directly through the PayPal website.
Due to the nature of website design work and the quick turn around time on our projects, for most projects we require that 20% of the price quote be paid before project begins, 20% due after the approved design, and the remainder upon completion. We have a strict no-refund policy, so please do not make any payments until you are sure you would like to move forward.
Once we have started your project, if you fail to respond to emails and do not attempt to make any other form of contact for more than 90 consecutive days, all monies are forfeited to WSOD Designs and we will terminate your project without notice. Should this occur and you request to resume your project at any time in the future, it will be at our sole discretion and additional charges may apply.
Generally you can expect to receive a draft of your design within 3-5 business days from the day we begin your project, but we will confirm the exact timeline with you via email. Each revision of your design may take an additional 2-4 business days depending on the complexity of your request. Once a design has been approved via email, we will likely complete the live install within 2-3 days.
Please note that all timelines are merely estimates, and ultimately we will take whatever time necessary to provide you with a quality finished product. Due to the variable nature of blog/web design, delays do occasionally happen and are not considered grounds for a refund.
Once you have placed your order, we ask that you check your email frequently. Failure to respond in a timely manner (no more than 2 or 3 business days) may result in your design being put on hold. If this happens, other projects will take precedence and we may not resume your project for up to 3 weeks from the date you are ready to move forward.
Unless you specify otherwise at the time you place your order, all blog and web designs will be created at 1140 pixels wide at web resolution (72 PPI, which is not a suitable resolution for printed materials). You will be charged an additional fee for print-ready files.
Because we are paid per project rather than hourly in most cases, it is vitally important that you communicate a solid and concise vision for your design before placing your order. Two complimentary rounds of edits are included with your design: one for larger conceptual changes, and one for smaller tweaks such as coloring. Additional drafts and/or revisions will be billed at an hourly rate of $45. Edits requested on a particular aspect of your design that you have given prior approval on (or edits you did not specify when you were given the opportunity to make revisions) will be made at an hourly rate of $45.
As the client, you will own full and unlimited rights to any design project we create for you (including but not limited to logo & brand designs, blog/web designs and designs for printed materials).
You are welcome to edit any designs we create for you as you see fit, or hire another designer to do so. Upon request, we will release any layered editable files to you upon completion of the project including Photoshop (.psd) and Illustrator (.ai). Note that all files will be provided to you as-is. By rendering our services, you guarantee that you either own or have permission from the rightful owner to use any elements of text, graphics, photos, designs, trademarks or other artwork you provide to WSOD Designs.
Additionally, we cannot be held liable for the success of your blog or website, including but not limited to the sale of products/services and/or generating revenue. Should you fail to comply by these terms, you will hold harmless, protect and defend WSOD Designs from any resulting claim or suit.
Each of our designs are tested for cross-browser compatibility, meaning we ensure it will display properly in the most current versions of Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome and Safari as of the date we install your new blog or web design live on your website. We cannot guarantee that your design will display properly in outdated or future versions of any web browser.
We are not liable for any loss or damage to your blog or website content while installing your design, or any time before or after installation. To date, we have never lost or damaged a client’s content, but it can happen, and it is your responsibility to back up your website before and after the installation process.
We do not guarantee to have your design files backed up for any length of time. If for any reason your web or blog design is lost or damaged, we will fix or reinstall it for a fee if I have your files available.
